This project emanates from a synthesis of my experiences in pet-raising and an examination of the mental health challenges confronting contemporary urban youth. Adopting a psychological lens, the initiative elucidates the therapeutic nuances inherent in the owner-pet relationship. This serves as a conduit to elucidate the emotional lacunae prevalent among the modern urban youth. The program critically engages with the salutary effects and emotional augmentations engendered by interactions with diverse tactile stimuli, thereby fostering a discourse on the rehabilitative potentialities of such engagements.
Drawing upon personal experiences, this study examines marginalized youth demographics, scrutinizing the enduring implications of childhood encounters on adult outcomes. Through a focused analysis centred on toys, the research interrogates the genesis of gender cognitive disorders stemming from early experiences. The investigation adopts a critical stance, employing anti-gendered characters to challenge prevailing gendered toy norms ubiquitous in contemporary markets.
The project elucidates, via four illustrative vignettes, the prevailing gender dynamics intrinsic to the toy realm as perceived by children. These illustrations conscientiously endeavour to deconstruct gender labels and dismantle entrenched stereotypes. The overarching aim is to champion children's autonomy in decision-making, free from gender biases. Concurrently, the project anticipates fostering enhanced professional trajectories in this domain, underscoring the imperative for future advancements.
